FREE INTRODUCTION to
Never tried Kickboxing? Curious about martial art, but not sure where to start?
We got you.
Every six weeks, we hold a free community class where we train the basics of kickboxing! Head Coach Kurt Cornwell, along with several MKG students or coaches, will help you step by step in learning basic boxing techniques, safe and fun partner drills that will get you up and moving, and a couple rounds of hitting pads and getting in a good workout. As a cool down exercise, we’ll do a quick tour of the other classes we offer at MKG Detroit, perfect if you’re curious about any specific art.
Session is 75 minutes. All are welcome.
Time will be available after to socialize, learn what MKG Detroit is all about, or just cool down and stretch.
Parking is free! Street parking is available, and you’ll find a our free parking lot at the south end of our block.
Wear comfortable workout clothes. Clean indoor gym shoes are permitted, and socks or bare feet are common as well. If you already have boxing gloves, awesome, otherwise we’ve got gear available to use at no cost.
