“I have always felt that Martial Art is a shared human inheritance, passed down among the generations in the spirit of keeping peace, protecting the tribe, and maintaining a healthy community in body and mind. While each individual culture of origin must be honored for its contribution, the Art as a whole belongs to us all. My job as a Teacher is to preserve these traditions, and to find a way to make them relevant and accessible to all people in my time.”
